AllCrafts is having a giveaway for an Amazon gift card!
The contest ends on Oct 31, so it would be a great late birthday present for me 😉

I got my hands on some awesome top-notch pony beads and love these bracelets I’ve made with them!
I also have some different shades of purple that I’m toying around with.
I have tentatively priced these bracelets at $5 each, but am considering modifying that as needed.
You can find the listings to purchase these here.
Anyway, thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
Currently I have two free websites for this venture: one at Weebly and one at Wix. The Weebly site is more intuitive and easier to modify, but the free e-commerce limits you to three items at a time. I don’t know of any fees associated with those sales, however. The Wix website is something I feel never meets my expectations, but I don’t know if that’s just due to my design shortcomings or to their options. They seem to have fee-free e-commerce now, but I haven’t played around with it much.
I’ve also played around with Webs, which hasn’t seemed very fruitful.
I’ve been looking into purchasing a real domain and paying for hosting. My brother is much more techy than I and recommends GoDaddy, but I really don’t want to be their customer. I’ve heard too many bad things about both their service and their [lack of] ethics.
I’m looking for a website domain registrar and host that offers the following:
It’s also very important that the website be as green as possible (or as green as I can afford).
Which brings me to my final point: at this time I do not have very many sales under my belt (around 20) and I have a very limited budget, so as close to free as possible is ideal. I really don’t think I can afford the $30/month plans some websites have.
So far my favorite potential host is AISO.net, which is the greenest of the options.
Many of the available options are very expensive – or at least seem that way to me, someone with low-to-no income.

I’m open to any suggestions, so let me know what you think.
Hi there, I’m so glad you’ve found me.
My previous WordPress blog was http://bitbybitknotbyknot.wordpress.com and I just decided to switch things up and streamline my online presence to just “Knot By Knot Etc”.
I’m sure you’ve seen my “About” page, but just to reiterate a bit:
I’m a disabled crafty maker and designer, and I work with several local nonprofits, making them bracelets to support their cause, increase awareness, and provide a source of donations.
I love doing what I do and want to share the art of my work and the good that nonprofits do with as many people as I can reach, so I’m very glad I reached you!
Please check out my gallery for some photos.
You can see more at my Facebook page, which should be accessible through a widget on the right side of this page, or you can check out my faux website, http://knotbyknotetc.wix.com
Thank you, have a wonderful night (or day, depending on when you’re reading this and from where)!
